DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 4 week fall book study featuring “The Wisdom
Jesus” by Cynthia Bourgeault.\nAs Christians we are called to follow Jes
us\, to live by his teachings and his example. Even more than that\, we ar
e to get to know him\, to have a relationship with him\, to trust him\, an
d love him. This autumn Rev. Bob Gilbert is offering a book study that\, h
e believes\, is helpful in our quest to follow and know Jesus.\nThe book o
ffers a new perspective on Christ. While not discounting other perspective
s on Christ\, the emphasis is on Christ as a teacher of ‘wisdom’. Rev.
Bob will be guiding our discussion. Copies of the book have been ordered
by those who let Bob know they will be joining the groups in Port Hardy an
d Port Alice. If you have decided to also join the group\, please let Bob
know and he will try and accomodate you. There will be about 35 pages to r
ead each week\, and the writing is described as engaging\, and includes va
rious prayer practices. \nThe St. John's Port Alice group will meet on Tu
esday morning starting at 10:30 AM until noon.\nThe St. Columba's Port Har
dy group will meet on Tuesday afternoon starting at 2:30 PM until 4 PM on
