This month's mission lunch is a celebration following the dedication of Emily during the service. Sheila Cook is the proud godmother. The lunch features hot dogs on the barbecue to welcome the summer season.
During table conversation at lunch and for a time after, the council will be facilitating a time of visioning for our church. This is not a formal congregational meeting, but a time for exploring some ideas for our church in the next while.
A reminder that funds raised at these monthly lunches after church help us to meet our commitments for local, Canadian and overseas missions. Money is split between the Mission and Services fund of the United Church and Primates World Relief and Development fund of the Anglican Church of Canada. A $5 donation is suggested.
