 tion Ceremonies — May 12\, 2026\n\n\n\nCelebrating the distinguished cla
 ss of 2026!\nThe Vancouver School of Theology is delighted to confirm th
 at its 2026 Convocation Ceremonies will be conducted at Shaughnessey Heigh
 ts United Church\, May 12\, beginning at 7 pm.\nThis year’s Convocation 
 Ceremonies will include almost 50 graduates of VST’s degree\, certificat
 e\, and diploma programs. In addition to the graduates\, various student a
 ward recipients will also be announced and celebrated. The Convocation Add
 ress will be given by Dr. David Janzen\, Professor of Hebrew Bible/Old Te
 stament at Durham University.\nThe 2026 Vancouver School of Theology Convo
 cation Ceremonies will be presided over by Chancellor Catherine Evans and 
 VST President and Vice-Chancellor\, Rev. Dr. Richard R. Topping. An update
  on the activities of the school and prospects for the future will be offe
 red by the President. Students and faculty will conduct the service and th
 ere will be special music provided by VST’s Musician-in-Residence\, Mr. 
 Lonnie Delisle.\nTwo Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degrees will be awarded
 —one to The Rev. Amanda Currie\, Minister of Word and Sacrament at Firs
 t Presbyterian Church in Regina\, Saskatchewan\, and another to Rev. Jami
 e Holtom\, Lead Minister at North Brumlea United Church in Brampton\, Ont
 ario. The Rev. Roberto DeSandoli\, winner of the President’s 2026 Thoug
 htful\, Engaged\, and Generous (TEG) Christian Leader Award will also be a
 cknowledged.\n\n\n
