Gloria officially came to work at St. Columba's in September 2020. As Indigenous Ministries Liaison, Gloria is a wonderful cook and was providing a weekly community outreach meal after our Sunday service. While we are still affected by Covid restrictions she is still providing bag lunches and making sure people access them. Her focus on food security also extends to midweek lunch delivery and emergency food delivery.

The Diocese of British Columbia acknowledges that for thousands of years the Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work, worship, and play. We seek a new relationship with the first peoples here, one based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
We thank you for registering to attend in-person worship at St. Columba's Port Hardy. A reminder that, at this time, people are respectfully asked to worship via our online option if they are unvaccinated, though we are not checking proof of vaccination at worship services. We also ask everyone to evaluate their current health status using provincial guidelines each time they arrive at the church and wear a mask at all times in the building.
