Barbeque/Potluck

The folks at St. John Gualbert church are hosting a potluck/barbeque with special guest United Church of Canada Moderator Carmen Lansdowne. The invitation has been sent to the other United shared ministry churches on the North Island. Note that there is a typo for the church address which is 175 Cedar Street in Port McNeill. Event is Sunday July 27 starting at 5:00 PM until about 7:30 PM. Even if you aren't able to come right at 5 PM for dinner, you are welcome to come a bit later and listen and talk to Carmen. She will be speaking about the past, present and  future of the United Church especially around the themes of resiliance and hope. This may be one of the last events she will be attending as her term as moderator of the United Church of Canada ends in just a few weeks with the election taking place August 9.
