Blessing Box

We received a wonderful little grant from the Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grant organization (locally Vancouver Foundation and North Island College). Elmarie Roberts applied for the grant and has been supplying fresh flowers and produce to the blessing box all summer. We will be continuing to purchase food for the blessing box as needed with the grant and we have also been blessed with food supplied by Loaves and Fishes Food Bank from Nanaimo when they come up twice a month.

Attached is the report Elmarie completed for our grant. This finalizes our obligations for the grant, so that we could apply again next year. The blessing box will continue through the winter with congregation and community support.

What a blessing.
