Giving Thanks

On this Thanksgiving weekend we give thanks for all that God has given us. The decorations for Sunday included the bounties of our gardens.

One of the great blessings and joys in our lives are the animals that share our lives. We celebrated these companions in a service of blessing these and all animals that are in our lives. The dogs and cats were all exceptionally well behaved and all who joined in the worship service felt the blessing of their presence.

We celebrated the life of Madge Richardson with family and friends, and are reminded of the gratitude we feel for loved ones even in the midst of our feeling of loss and sorry.

WITH GRATITUDE

The Diocese of British Columbia acknowledges that for thousands of years the Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work, worship, and play. We seek a new relationship with the first peoples here, one based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
