Registration for Summer Day Camp

St. Columba's Church, Port Hardy, August 21-25, 2017  

Dear Families:

Thank you for being part of our Summer Day camp this year! We are really looking forward to spending time with your children.  

Our theme will be MEET! PLAY! LOVE!  Children need to play in order to explore their world, express ideas, and learn to work together. During the week they will be exploring different aspects of play through imagination, friendship, fairness, and nature.  

The camp will start at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm each day. Snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon. We will be providing children with refillable water bottles to use during the week. 

• Packed lunch
• Hat and extra sunscreen (or long-sleeved shirt)
• Running shoes for outside games and activities
• Any medications needed to be taken during the day or allergy treatment (such as Epi-pens). Please send only the proper dosage of any medications.  

• Electronic devices (phones, iPods, iPads, gaming devices etc.)
• Toys or special items (these could become lost or broken)  

Campers should bring their belongings in a backpack, labelled with their name. It would be helpful if other belongings could be labelled as well, such as lunch dishes, jackets, and hats.  

We encourage campers to dress in play clothes. Campers will not only be spending time playing outside, they will also be crafting with glue, paint, and sparkles!
