This coming weekend, those using Zoom videoconferencing services need to update their accounts to Zoom 5.0 on or before Saturday, May 30, if they haven't done so already. This is an important update with many security features built in.
As you host Zoom events over the coming days, please confirm that everyone on the call has initiated the upgrade. Here is the link https://blog.zoom.us/wordpress/2020/04/22/zoom-hits-milestone-on-90-day-security-plan-releases-zoom-5-0/ to the information about this update.
Please share widely.
The Diocese of British Columbia acknowledges that for thousands of years the Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work, worship, and play. We seek a new relationship with the first peoples here, one based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
Office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 9 to 11 AM. Drop-ins will need to ring the door bell(s) to gain access. Contact by phone or email to meet with the minister at other times.
We thank you for registering to attend in-person worship at St. Columba's Port Hardy. A reminder that, at this time, people are respectfully asked to worship via our online option if they are unvaccinated, though we are not checking proof of vaccination at worship services. We also ask everyone to evaluate their current health status using provincial guidelines each time they arrive at the church and wear a mask at all times in the building.
